Wyman Park Neighborhood

Urban living in a park-like setting.

Welcome

Welcome to the website of the Wyman Park Community Association! The Wyman Park neighborhood is a tree-filled, mostly row-house neighborhood that is named after the park that runs along its east side.

Close to many restaurants, a movie theater, shops, coffee houses, and two grocery stores, Wyman Park is also a short walk away from Johns Hopkins University, Hampden, and Roland Park.

From block to block, the architecture ranges in age from the late 1800s to the 1940s, varying in style from brick bow-fronts to houses with generous front porches or sun rooms, as well as a few apartment buildings. Many houses have landscaped front yards, backyards, and gardens.

The Stony Run Trail runs through Wyman Park, providing access to three miles of mostly wooded, scenic trails.

Surrounded by park land, open spaces, playgrounds, ball fields, and abundant trees, neighbors enjoy walking to shops, restaurants, the movie theater, gyms and workout centers, and the Baltimore Art Museum. I-83 is easily accessible for a short drive to downtown or the harbor, or going north to connect with I-695.

Living in Wyman Park is truly “urban living in a park-like setting” and is a place that professionals, retirees, toddlers, students, and seniors proudly call home.

Welcome to our neighborhood!
